Registration, taxes and much more. And if the car needs to be brought in for inspection, Clyde will take care of that as well, of course. The only thing left for you is to click and off we go.

Our promise is "Your car in Easy", so you have no registration fee and zero risk just to try it out. It couldn't be more convenient, because we deliver your car to any address in Switzerland free of charge within 10 working days of receipt of payment for the first monthly subscription rate (valid for cars immediately available from stock). And now have a look at our fine selection of city cars, cool station wagons and great electric models.

Clyde offers the most flexible car subscription for Switzerland. It has never been so easy to drive your own car. The Clyde customer chooses the right car and determines the desired minimum term between one month and 48 months and the monthly mileage between 250 km and 4,000 km. A fixed monthly installment is then always paid, which covers all costs, except refuelling. We are the only provider where there is no registration fee and the car is delivered free of charge to any place in Switzerland. The entire purchase process is completely digital. We call it all "Your ticket to freedom".

Switching your car is very easy. Just send us an email to [email protected] with the following information:

  1. Link to the desired car
  2. Desired mileage package
  3. Desired minimum subscription duration

Our Customer Care will contact you for a changeover date. Return and handover will be on the same day.

Back to New? Switching your car within the minimum subscription duration is unfortunately not possible. After your minimum subscription duration has expired, you can easily switch cars.
Sure! As long as you already have an official registration document and a valid driver's license, we can redeem the vehicle for you. Please note that in some cases we need a written proof of your registration for the traffic office.
Easy: with Clyde you can let your favorite people drive your car.

At least 20 years old, residency in Switzerland oder Liechtenstein, valid driving licence (category B) and a successful credit check. If you fit these criteria, you’re a match. If not, your dream car has to stay with us for a little longer.

The right to drive extends to journeys in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, in the states of Europe and in the Mediterranean rim and island states. The insurance cover does not apply in the following countries and driving in these countries is therefore prohibited: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Russian Federation, Syria, Ukraine and Belarus.

The predominant place of use of the car must be in Switzerland or Liechtenstein.

With us, your car is not only available in easy, but also in fast. After receipt of your first monthly payment, we will provide you with your car within 10 working days (valid for cars immediately available from stock). The exact delivery conditions will be shown to you when you make your booking.
Cars available immediately from stock can be booked 30 days in advance at the earliest. But easy, we get daily supplies, so you should always find something suitable.

You can also find cars that are not immediately available on Clyde.ch, e.g. cars that will be available in the coming months. You can book these as many days in advance as you like. However, the delivery of the car must take place in the month of availability indicated by us. For example, if you book a car in January that will be available from April, the car you book must be delivered to you in April. The minimum term you have chosen begins on the day the car is handed over to you
Absolutely! During your subscription, any kilometres you don’t use are carried over to the following month.

However, unused kilometres cannot be transferred to another subscription or vehicle.
No problem! After you have returned the car, we’ll send you a separate invoice. Depending on how many kilometres you have driven, we’ll retrospectively charge you the next larger and appropriate mileage package that covers your excess mileage. Simply fair.

If you drive more than 4’000km per month on average, we will charge you - independent of the vehicle - a price per excess kilometre for all mileage beyond 4’000km per month.

After the minimum duration has been reached, the subscription continues to renew automatically for another month.

You plan to end your subscription? You can cancel your subscription online with 10 days’ notice, earliest possible end date at the end of your minimum subscription period.

In principle, we want to make life as easy as possible for you. However, we do reserve the right to change your car for an equivalent one after 24 months or 40,000 km. Should this be the case, we will inform you two months in advance.

Depending on the results of your credit check, however, it could be possible that we will need to agree on different payment terms. Of course, this will only happen after prior consultation with you.

Yes, the car must be picked up personally by whoever has made the booking - in case of a pool vehicle by the most frequent driver. Please bring your valid driving license for identification purposes.
It couldn’t be easier: your car will be delivered to your door and picked up there as well. Without surcharge of course.

Clyde means flexible and easy. And that’s why we deliver your car directly to the door of your desired address within Switzerland and Liechtenstein. For free, of course. Please have your driving license ready for identification purposes.

Your car will be filled up by us before it is delivered from our car storage depot to your home. In this case, it’s possible that your tank won’t be 100% full, when you receive the car.

Simply fair: you will need to refuel the car on your return, but in case of a home pickup, Clyde will cover the fuel costs for driving your car back from your home to our car storage depot.
When you return the vehicle, we will collect it directly from your home.

Please do not forget to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel, undamaged, cleaned (car 1x through the car wash & vacuuming), roadworthy, in accordance with its age and mileage, with all keys and associated components and documents.
Only very discreet. You will find our logo on the license plate holder and a small sticker on the back of the car. Since it should feel like your personal car, you have the possibility to remove this branding at any time. If you see a car on the street with a slightly bigger Clyde sticker, give us a waves! These are our Clyde Team cars.

Your car fits in completely with your lifestyle – and that includes where you live. So you get a license plate from your canton of residence.
You get what you see – promise. That means the exact car that you’ve seen and chosen on the website.
When you choose a fully electric car (BEV) from Clyde, you can also enjoy our flat rate for charging. What that means in practice is that you can use your personal charging card from swisscharge.ch to charge your car for free at any of the charging stations in the swisscharge.ch network in Switzerland and throughout Europe. The charging costs are already included in your monthly subscription rate.

You will receive your personal Clyde x swisscharge charging card by post at no additional cost to you. Order fee? Nope. Membership fee? Nope. Annual fee? Nope! You can use the card or your login credentials to cover the cost of charging your car at any charging station in the swisscharge.ch network in Switzerland and throughout Europe. The best part? Clyde will take care of the bill. Full speed ahead.
Fit and healthy. Our offer consists of vehicles as good as new. Most of our cars are even less than one year old and have less than 20'000 km. The maximum age is normally 24 months, the maximum mileage 30'000 km. Due to the current delivery problems, we currently also have vehicles with a maximum age of 36 months and a maximum mileage of up to 36'000 km. You can find the first registration and the mileage for each vehicle under "Car details" and "First registration & mileage".
If you use your Clyde x swisscharge charging card or your account in the swisscharge.ch app when charging your car, the costs are already covered by your subscription. How about bills? We’ll take care of them. No, really. Do note, however, that you absolutely have to use your swisscharge.ch login credentials. You cannot use a different or private account for this.

If you do so, we cannot transfer these charging costs to your regular account or reimburse you for them. If you wish to charge your car at a station that is not part of the swisscharge.ch network, be aware that this will not be covered by your monthly flat rate, so you will have to pay for it separately.

For all Tesla drivers: if you charge your Tesla at a swisscharge.ch charging station, we will of course pick up the costs. Obviously, you can also charge it via the Tesla app at all Tesla Supercharger stations. However, please note that this is not included in the flat rate and you will have to pay the costs separately yourself.

If you choose a plug-in hybrid car, you can decide for yourself which Swiss charging network provider you want to use. As soon as you register with your favourite provider via the app, your charging will simply be billed via your credit card.
Our partner swisscharge.ch will email you your personal login credentials for your Clyde flat rate for charging just before you take receipt of your car from Clyde. All you need to do to activate these credentials is to set a personal password. You will be sent your Clyde x swisscharge charging card a short while later by post. It will be sent to the address stored in our records. Your charging card is already linked to your account, so you don’t have to do anything there.
Clyde's flat rate for charging is a brand new subscription feature that has not yet been available on the car subscription market. That's why we still have a lot to learn. Therefore, according to the General Terms and Conditions of Clyde's flat rate for charging, we reserve the right to discontinue the feature at any time. As a consequence, we are allowed to cancel the Clyde subscription at any time with a notice period of one month. But don't worry, we will put all our effort into the flatrate and contact you in time to discuss a suitable alternative with you if the worst comes to the worst.
When you choose a fully electric car (BEV) from Clyde, the Clyde flat rate for charging allows you to take advantage of all charging stations in the swisscharge.ch network in Switzerland and throughout Europe – entirely free of charge. The charging costs are already included in your monthly subscription rate, and you will receive your Clyde x swisscharge charging card automatically by post when your subscription starts.

For all Tesla drivers: if you charge your Tesla at a swisscharge.ch charging station, we will of course pick up the costs. Obviously, you can also charge it via the Tesla app at all Tesla Supercharger stations. However, please note that this is not included in the flat rate and you will have to pay the costs separately yourself. Charging at charging stations that are not part of the swisscharge.ch network is excluded from the Clyde flat rate for charging.

If you charge your car but fail to use the login credentials made available to you or your free swisscharge.ch charging card, this will likewise not be covered by the flat rate for charging.
All new customers who take out a subscription for a fully electric car (BEV) with Clyde can benefit from the flat rate. ‘Fully electric’ describes all cars that are powered by batteries alone. Our flat rate for charging is designed to cover your average charging requirements based on your car and mileage package. Say you have a holiday coming up in the next month and you’ll be on the road a little more than usual: that’s not a problem at all.

If, however, we have reason to believe that you’re being a little rascal and ignoring our terms and conditions by consuming an unusual amount of electricity, we reserve the right to pass on the costs incurred for wrongful usage to you and charge a service fee on top.

The swisscharge.ch network contains more than 130,000 charging stations around Europe, of which around 6,500 are located in Switzerland. An overview is provided in the swisscharge.ch app.
The package includes the following aspects:

Parking Damage:
Extends the insurance coverage to damage caused by unknown persons to the parked vehicle. Two (2) cases are included per calendar year. The deductible for corresponding damage is CHF 0 and the sum insured is unlimited.

Extended glass coverage:
In the partially comprehensive insurance the glass breakage of the front, rear and side windows as well as the glass roof is insured as standard. Extended coverage additionally insures all vehicle parts made of glass, Plexiglas or similar hard materials (e.g. headlights, auxiliary headlights, fog lights, turn signal lenses, reflectors, reversing lamps, rearview mirrors and license plate lighting). The deductible for corresponding damage is CHF 0.
Safe, safe, really safe. Besides the third-party liability insurance there’s a partial and fully comprehensive cover. 

Partial comprehensive cover basically covers damage to your car for which you are not responsible (not caused intentionally). This includes damage caused by fire, natural hazards, animal collisions, vandalism, theft and simple glass damages.The deductible for private customers and pool cars is CHF 0.

For private customers, the standard deductible for the fully comprehensive insurance (collision) is CHF 1,500 and can be reduced to CHF 1,000 or CHF 500 on request for an additional fee in the booking process. The deductible of the fully comprehensive cover covers damage to your own car caused by classic collision events (e.g. collision with another car, collision with a pillar, etc.). The deductible is always calculated per damage. 

If damage is caused to another car, a person or an object in the event of a collision, this is covered by the liability insurance. For private customers, the deductible of the liability insurance is CHF 0.

The deductible for pool vehicles is CHF 1'000 for liability insurance and CHF 1'500 for fully comprehensive insurance (collision). In this case reducing the deductible is not possible.

For a monthly surcharge, you can choose the Insurance Plus option, which covers you additionally for glass and parking damage.

No worries – it happens to the best of us. If there’s been an accident or your car has broken down, your first call should be to the below number depending on your car brand  – then let us know.

For other kinds of damage, you can come straight to us.

As a general rule, you should use winter tyres from October to Easter. And from Easter to October, you’re best off using summer tyres. 

But bear in mind: depending on the weather, an early switch from summer to winter tyres might be in order. Most manufacturers recommend making the switch when the temperature dips below 7 degrees Celsius. 
If your car is delivered between 1 April and 31 August, it will be equipped with summer tyres. If it’s delivered between 1 September and 31 March, you’ll get your Clyde with winter tyres. When it comes time for a tyre change, you can arrange an appointment with one of the following Clyde tyre partners . The removed tyres will be stored for you.
Service: You can easily have the service done in a garage authorized by the manufacturer. You drive the car, Clyde will take care of inspection, wear and tear. Easy!

Tyres: You can make an appointment with one of the following Clyde tyre partners . The dismantled tyres will be stored for you. When the tread is worn down, the tyre partner will fit you with new tyres.
Of course. We only deal in unique rides. Part of that means you may not want to give it up at the end of your subscription period. We understand, which is why we’re happy for you to buy your car and take Emma, Helmut or Lea home with you permanently after your minimum contract duration. You want to quit? After your minimum subscription duration you can cancel your subscription at any time, effective as of the end of your individual subscription month. Just send us an email to [email protected], allowing a notice period of at least 10 days before the end of your subscription period.
