Electricity.

Electricity is included as an option – whether at public charging stations in our partner charging network or privately. Private charging costs will be reimbursed directly to your bank account.

Maximum flexibility.

You choose your car and determine the minimum duration between 1 and 48 months as well as the monthly mileage package between 250 and 4’000 km. Everything is 100% digital

Fast delivery.

With a delivery period of just three to four weeks, you’ll soon be hitting the road in your dream electric car from Clyde.

Short-term subscription

You will receive this or a comparable model.

We provide an electric car from our partner Europcar for terms of 1-2 months. We are unable to guarantee a particular brand or model in advance, since this depends on what vehicles Europcar has available on the day of collection. You will definitely receive a vehicle with a comparable range, performance, number of seats and drive train type.

Real range

The range of your car in everyday conditions

The real range gives an estimate of how far a car can drive in typical driving conditions. Factors such as the weather, type of road and use of features such as air conditioning or heating are taken into account. This information provides a more realistic estimate for daily use than the WLTP range.

Range (WLTP)

Standardised range estimate for comparison purposes

The Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) is a standardised measurement that offers a consistent way to compare electric vehicles.

The WLTP test, which was introduced in 2017, is more rigorous and closer to reality than earlier methods and provides a more precise approximation of real driving conditions. However, factors such as the weather, driving style and road conditions can influence the actual range.

Heat pump

Save energy and increase range

Heat pumps in electric cars increase energy efficiency by using ambient heat. This improves the range, particularly in winter. In comparison to conventional heating, they can use 10-20% less energy, which means you need to make fewer stops to recharge. They enable your car to heat up more quickly and offer greater comfort while using less energy. By reducing electricity consumption, they are also more environmentally friendly. Many heat pumps can also be used for cooling the vehicle too, making it a system that offers a range of uses.

Insurance

Everything included: Third-party liability, comprehensive and partial casco. You enjoy free travel and decide which deductible suits you best (partial cover/liability CHF 0, fully comprehensive insurance deductible CHF 500, 1,000 or 1,500).

Taxes

You don’t have to worry about a thing – we’ll be happy to take care of everything for you.

Registration

Your life, your region, your numberplate. All of our cars are registered in your canton of residence.

Service

No surprises: all you have to do is drive. Clyde’s partners will take care of all inspections and replacement parts.

Tyres

Full speed ahead. Clyde will make sure your car has the right tyres for the time of year. We’ll also store them for you.

Multi-driver

Share the experience: your friends and family can get behind the wheel too, if you like.

Note: For subscription terms of 1–2 months, additional drivers must be registered when picking up the vehicle. There is more information about this in the check-out process.

Vignette

With Clyde, you’re immediately ready to go – including vignette on an annual basis.

Home Delivery

We deliver your electric car to your doorstep wherever you are in Switzerland.

Premium subscription: with electricity*

The Premium subscription means that electricity at all public charging stations within our partner charging network is included. For private charging, for example at home or at work, we reimburse the charging costs directly to your bank account.

*Please note that the charging costs are only included in your monthly rate if you have selected the “Premium” electricity option.

Insurance

«Insurance Basic» is included in your monthly rate. If you’d like to add extra cover and limit your liability for parking damage and glass damage to your car, we recommend our «Insurance Plus» product.

Insurance Basic

«Insurance Basic» is included in your monthly rate and offers comprehensive protection for your vehicle. It includes mandatory third-party liability insurance as well as full and partial comprehensive coverage. This means that you are covered in the event of:

- Collisions
- Fire damage
- Natural hazards
- Snowslide
- Theft
- Vehicle window glass breakage*
- Vandalism
- Damage caused by animals, e.g. marten bites
- Damage caused by assistance
- Falling objects
- Vehicle contents up to CHF 2,000

*Please note: scratches to the glass which have not resulted in glass breakage – caused by car washes, scraping ice off, windscreen wipers or similar – are not covered and you have to pay for them yourself.

Insurance Plus

+ 40 CHF

In addition to «Insurance Basic» «Insurance Plus» also offers parking damage coverage and expanded glass damage coverage*. It protects all vehicle parts made from glass, plexiglas and similar materials, such as headlights, indicators and rear-view mirror glass.

Please note: scratches to the glass which have not resulted in glass breakage – caused by car washes, scraping ice off, windscreen wipers or similar – are not covered and you have to pay for them yourself.

Two instances of parking damage* per year caused by unknown persons are also covered. The excess is 500 and the insured amount is unlimited.

**Please note: in the event of a flat/damaged tyre and any damage to the wheel rims, you are responsible for covering all related costs. For damage to wheel rims, you’ll only need to pay up to the amount of your agreed excess. The excess applies to each instance of damage.
